It's no wonder these award winning diapers are the diapers of choice for moms, dads, grandparents and babysitters.

One of the most important decisions new parents face, just got easier!

Rump•a•rooz® One Size Reusable Diaper Care Instructions:
Breastfed Poo:
Fasten laundry tabs if you own a hook and loop diaper.
Remove insert and store in a dry pail or bag until wash time.
No need to to do anything with breast fed baby poo will dissolve in the wash.
Breastmilk poo is 100% organic!

Formula Fed & Solid Poo:
Fasten laundry tabs if you own a velcro diaper.
Simply "plop" that poo into the toilet and flush.
*Did you know that even disposable diaper companies recommend that procedure as well?*
Solid and thicker poo will not cling to the fleece - a little residue is fine.
Remove insert and store in a dry pail or bag until wash time.

Wash:
• First run a cold rinse to loosen up and discard of and poo remnants.
• Add detergent - ONLY ADD 1/2 - 1/4 THE RECOMMENDED AMOUNT FOR THE APPROPRIATE SIZE LOAD.
• Hot wash - do NOT run a sanitize cycle on your pocket shells.  The high temp is not good for the laminate and can melt the laminate bond.  Rump•a•rooz® use a TPU process for their PUL which is a heat bonding method and NOT a chemical solvent process.  The TPU process is earth friendly! The only portion of the diaper that should ever be run through the sanitize cycle would be the inserts.  It does not take much to get the pocket shell clean and if you are having residue or stink issues it is not the pocket shell, it is the inserts.
• Cold rinse.
• Tumble dry low or hang dry. If you would like to dry on high, please remove the pocket diaper shell and only dry inserts on high.  The pocket shells of the Rump•a•rooz® do not take a lot of heat or much time at all to dry.  High heat is not good for elastic either.

Diaper Rash Cream:
Rarely will you have to use a diaper rash cream while using cloth diapers.  If you have a consistent rash problem, this most likely may be a detergent irritation issue and you should switch your diaper laundry detergent.  Other times the rash may be a yeast infection and you should contact your family physician.
On the rare occasion that you may need to use a medically prescribed cream or an over the counter ointment, Rump•a•rooz® recommends to ALWAYS use a liner to place between the cream on your baby's behind and the microchamois inner of the Rump•a•rooz®.  Rump•a•rooz® first recommendation would be a washable liner made of microchamois so that the diaper retains the stay dry quality the microchamois provides.  There are also disposable liners available on the market, however these liners will crinkle and crunch and can be far less soothing on an irritated behind.

Even is a cream boasts "Cloth Diaper Safe" - it is Rump•a•rooz® advice to still use a liner.

Stains:
NO BLEACH
NO STAIN REMOVER
NO BORAX: This product will destroy both the PUL (waterproof material) and the bond that holds laminate to the fabric.
NO Bac-Out: This product will destroy the PUL (waterproof material) making it dry and brittle and susceptible to cracking.
To remove stains, lay in the SUN when wet!

Detergents:
Important to AVOID in detergents:
MUST AVOID: Fabric Softener - This product will coat the fabric and attach to the fibers.  This will make diapers less absorbent & cause repelling
Brighteners - may leave residue that will cause a stinky diaper
Scents - may cause irritation on babies with history of sensitive skin

Customer Reviews

  1. Rumparooz = Rolls Royce of cloth diapers Review by Babyluvin

I thought I wanted a different popular cloth diaper until someone mentioned the Rumparooz to me. I had never heard of them but their inner gussets caught my eye. Other diapers leaked just as bad as disposable with blow outs! UGH! and YUCK!........nasty. We had 12 bumgenius that lasted us about 6 months before the elastic was shot and no matter because my 18 month old was out growing the largest size. Now expecting our 2nd, with a first still in diapers - I had started investigating CD brands again. Thank GOD!!!!!!! I found the Rumparooz - amazing. My favorite. Fit my newborn at 7 lbs 2 oz - we needed NO OTHER newborn diapers. AND the same diapers fit my, now, 20 month old - on the medium setting :) Im tickled pink - as pink as you can get with 2 boys. No leaks. No blowouts. No explosion messes from baby being EBF.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND to EVERYONE. If only disposable parents knew. (Posted on 7/27/09)
