Thisrties sizes are very generous.  Resist the temptation to size up!  Buying a diaper or cover that is too large, could cause leaking.  Please note that the extra small size is perfect for the average size newborn baby and will fit through the first 2-3 months.  If you are hoping to skip a size, large may be the one to go without.  Many babies can wear their mediums all the way through to potty training.
